Can a sun conure and a senegal parrot have babies?

I was wondering if they can be breed. Not that I want to breed them its just I want to put both of them in the same cage and I dont want baby parrots if you know what I mean.

Nope. They are two totally different species of birds. But this is not saying that they wont try. I never suggest putting 2 different species of birds in the same cage. The Senegal has a larger beak and they can both do damage to each other. In other words they could kill each other. What you are suggesting to do isnt a good thing.

    EDIT:
Actually SaveThePandas they can lay eggs. A female doesnt need a male to lay eggs they just wont be fertile. They wont hatch.

    sun conure Aratina
    Senegal Poicephalus

these guys are from different parts of the world. they are from different families in the parrot group.

the general rule is if the family is different they cant breed. even if they shared the same genus that doesnt gurantee you can get offspring and if you did odds would be they wont be viable
