Which is better ? A Green Qaker or Senegal parrot ?
This is my very first parrot and i dont know much about them. All I know is that theyre great pets. Do you guys know which one talks better and is easier to handle ? Im getting one today and its just so exciting.
I cant afford another parrot because theyre way too much so I only want a green quaker parrot or a senegal parrot because where im buying its only 190.
A quaker is more of a big parakeet and a very sweet bird. Senegals are bigger or should i say thicker birds. As for as talking they both dont mimic that much.
The quaker i feel is more loving however both are good birds. If you want a cuddle bug that is funny and mimics try a mexican red headed amazon. The only thing is they get really hyper at sunset.
Having had both I can honestly say a hand fed socialized bird of either would be great. Pick the one you like or the one that chooses you. I honestly couldnt make a choice. Theyre both great birds. If noise is a factor then take the sennie because Quakers can get noisy.
Mine wasnt but some can rattle your eardrums. Sennegals have a tiny voice but they can learn to speak well. Quakers are not noted for talking but some speak well. 190 for a senegal is a good deal in my neck of the woods.
You should get a Quaker there awesome little birds with a Loving and cute personality. In fact Quakers are sometimes compared to the African Gray because theyre great talkers and the Senegal isnt so much. But whatever u choose good luck.
The Ouaker is the best talker of all the small birds and are in the top 6 of all the parrots. they make great pets but you have to spend a lot of time with them.
I agree with totally Ive been a bird owner for years. All birds are different even within their own species. Pick the one who is the healthiest calmest and friendliest personality.
